SAP GUI 7.10
LR Protocols SAPGUI and SAP - Web
Problem identifying the proper tree node to expand/collapse. Potential issue in that the SAP application is using the method sapEvent:POST rather than expandNode. It is not a Portal application.
I have tried QTP Object Spy, and SAPSpy by SAP to no avail. The recorded tree view in VUGen shows the expanded SAP tree, but refers to an HTML viewer event (even when I record a single protocol of SAPGUI).
Does anyone have a reliable method of capturing an object ID for SAP GUI? If I can get the actual object details, I should be able to use the sapgui_tree_expand_node to do what I need.
I do have a ticket opened with HP in regards to this issue, but I thought I'd reach out to a larger support group.
This may help:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
Set objSAPTree = SAPGuiSession("Session").SAPGuiWindow("Window").SA PGuiTree("TableTree")
intNode = objSAPTree.Object.GetFocusedNodeKey()</pre><hr />
I used it to do this:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>Set intNodeCount = objSAPTree.Object.GetNodeChildrenCount(intNode) </pre><hr />
While I have been working for Businesses that are Vendor partners with HP, IBM and Microsoft, my opinions and advice is my own.
The solutions provided are either sourced from my own scripting libraries or from a quick Google Search.
