    Recording ActiveX Control using LoadRunner 9.1

    Hello All -

    Good Morning!
    Can anyone tell me how do we capture/record an activex control while recording a script? Iím using LR 9.1
    Our application is .NET based and it uses DLIUploader activex control to upload files.

    I did change the browser settings; manually I donít find any error. Its only with LR interface.
    Let me know if anyone has faced this issue or any solution for this.

    Pls revert back to me if need more details.

    (PC) are you using? (specify which tool LR or PC)

    2. What is the protocol you are recording?
    Ans. Web(HTTP/HTML)

    2.1 If .NET, which version of .NET does the app require?

    2.2 If .NET, which version of .NET do you have installed?

    2.3 If OracleNCA with Oracle Forms Server, please list the version of Oracle Forms Server. You can get this info from the main Oracle Form when launched - Help -> About


    3. If HTML - are you using HTML-Advanced with URLs or,
    Ans. YES

    4. If URL mode:
    - Concurrent groups, or
    - Without Concurrent groups?
    Ans. N/A

    5. Which LoadRunner/PerformanceCenter feature (FPs) or service packs are you using?
    Ans. SP1

    6. VuGen Recording - are you using Old or New Recording Engine?
    Ans. NEW

    7. You must list here the specific Licensed Vuser type for your specific issue AND the license amount you have for your Vuser protocol(s) - per the example below No response to this question or N/A are not options) If you are using a cracked or hacked version, list as "CRACK".

    Standard question: How much experience do you have with LR?

    The ActiveX control may just be Client side functionality that LR doesn't care about. (And if it is actually doing an HTML action LR may just catch it for you for free!)
    Unless you are writing a compiler, strtok is NOT the answer.

    Hi,

    The upload File content is recorded, but when trying reply the attachmentUpload.asp is giving error.

    Let me know any settings need to be changed.
