I have been playing with both and wonder about how they differ from web/http protocol use.

Remember how in WR or QTP if you run part of your script in a loop, you need to leave the application in the same state at the bottom of the loop that it needs to be at the top? So that WR/QTP can pick-up where it left off?

Of course, moving to LR and web/http that's really not necessary since we're dealing with requests and responses, not physical GUI objects.

But when I loojk at a C&S script I see a lot of references to GUI objects. Does the C&S protocols actually draw the GUIs behind the scenes and click on the objects?

Sorry if I'm late to the party w/ these questions, pointers to info much appreciated, thanks in advance. ;-)
