Been away a while, a few questions re C&S ...
Hey all, been away for a while. ;-)
I had been using LR 8.x and am in the middle of moving to Performance Center, my copy of VUGen claims to be 9.1.
In the past I never delved into the Click & Script protocol for my web work, instead I used the web/http protocol. I had been told at the time that C&S was a little buggy and a resource hog.
Is that still the case w/ 9.x? Or are many of you using Click and Script now?
Any pointers to things I should read to get up to speed on C&S?
In the web/http protocol I was used to clicking on the button on the far right of the runtime toolbar to create a text checkpoint. I don't see that when I record with C&S. Is there a better way to accomplish the same thing?
Thanks very much in advance, all pointers to more info much appreciated! Also off to go read the 'new features' info for 9.1 again. ;-)
Re: Been away a while, a few questions re C&S ...
In general the "old hands" that have LR experience prior to C&S continue to do business the same way as always. As to C&S, HP puts a lot of value in it and continues to refine it with each release. Some people have good luck with C&S. I've tried it couple of times and was frustrated and gave up.
