Normally load runner calculates the total duration for each transaction as the total amount took to complete a transaction minus any wasted time. My question is "think_time" part of the wasted time?
I always thought "think_time" is part of the wasted time which been subtracted by load runner from the total transaction time, but in .Net scripts I noticed that this is not the case, I noticed that think_time is been added to the total transaction time….is this an accurate statement? Is it true just for .Net scripts for all type of scripts? Thanks for your help and response in advance
If your think time is between the lr_start... and lr_end... statements, then it is expected behavior to have the think time reported as a part of the transaction time, unless you change your filtering options in the analysis engine to exclude the use of think time in the reporting.
