    Re: LB having dynamic values

As conveyed by others - you need training. This is not an interactive training site. Given the wealth of TCS, do you think they could spare a bit of money to get you trained? Perhaps someone needs to hold TCS to these words lifted from their site, <font color="blue">"Our values – integrity, leading change, excellence, respect for the individual, and fostering an environment of learning and sharing – will get us there." </font>

... or make them aware of symptoms such as yours which seem to indicate a compromise of their values???

You are not the only member here from TCS to have had these same struggles with the very basics.

Take a step back and correlate something simpler, then ... Practice - read the documentation - practice.

And it is beginning to look like you are going to become the all time winner for "most locked threads asking the same question several different ways".

    Re: LB having dynamic values

Your question regarding the capturing of data is a common one. This subject is covered by four chapters out of thirteen chapters in the current training for LoadRunner: Chapter 6-Auto Correlation after recording, Chapter 11-Manual Correlation, Chapter 12-Auto Correlation During Recording &amp; Appendix 1-Advanced manual Correlation.

This is where you may want to review the material presented in the LoadRunner training and perhaps turn to your TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) project mentor for some insight as well. If you have not yet had an opportunity to attend training, well, this is the catalyst that may provide the path to training for your management. if your management objects to training, please feel free to ask them to post their objections to this forum and we will be happy to set them straight.

What is the financial impact to TCS' clients? With you taking up to ten times longer on basic tasks, the use of you on a project with your current skills will cost the customer many times more than if a skilled individual had been hired. What is the financial impact to TCS? Your employer receives more revenue by having low/or untrained individuals perform the work than if they used skilled individuals who both cost them more to hire and also take shorter amounts of time to deliver the work. One might argue that there is a financial disincentive on the part of your employer to train you, but a moral incentive to see to your growth as an employee and to treat their clients fairly by providing strong, capable resources for projects. Only you can tell if your employer will be more motivated by the financial or the moral arguments.
