OK did a search and came out empty handed. I am having an issue getting test cases uploaded into Mercury from Excel with Vista Operating system. Any time I get to them template naming screen, the next button doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click on it. Anyone else run into this? Any solutions anyone knows about? My company is planning on upgrading to Office 2007 soon (very soon, in fact.) I saw your post and said "Oh, oh..." and posted a query on the HP support forums about Excel 2007 and the addin working with QC. The reponse was that it should work for Excel 2007.
What is the error you are getting, and have you notifed HP support about it?
Zirka, same question - Have you contacted HP support about your problem?
We upgraded to Office 2007. I attempted the "Additional Steps" as identified in the QC Excel Addin manual, that is, copying the TDAddin directory and another file from one folder to another. That did not result in getting the Export to QC to work - it simply stopped at the 5th Step (where you name/create a map to use for formatting).
So, I uninstalled the excel addin (add/remove programs under the control panel... yes, Windows shop...) and reinstalled the addin.
I have used the excel 2007 without any problems but I did have to disable "All Macros" in order to make it work for excel. When I mean disable, I mean that you can not use the macro function in excel at all...it is all grayed out.
