We have certain number of BPT licenses in QC 9.2 and i assume that the QC 9.2 is not logging off the users for inactivity because i had to wait almost 2-3 hours to get license. My question is Does QC 9.2 logs off users automatically like QC 9.0?
Yes, if the license is not used for long time, it automatically logs off. Like if i am logged into QC 9.2 at the end of the day and come back next morning. Whenever i click on any module in QC, it says you have been logged out.
This timeout is set by QC Administrator. You can check with your QC admin if you need.

I spoke to QC Admin and time out is set for 30 minutes, i am inactive on QC 9.2 for more than 30 minutes, i am still not logged off, is that a glitch?

Are you getting the message that you have been disconnected?
The system does not return you to the login screen once you have been timed out. Perhaps this is a feature they should add. I've been testing the system for several months with the LoginTimeOut set to 30 minutes and it seems to work fine.
What configuration are you using?
I've tested it on Windows 2K3 w/JBoss and Linux with WebSphere. No problems with either in this regard.
I am not getting a message that i have been disconnected because of inactivity, it gives wierd pop-up messages which dose not convey the message that it's been disconnected. i have to assume that it's been dosconnected and have to login again.
i am using Windows XP Professional with Service pack 2.
