I have a new issue using QC Dashboard. Sometimes, it stops. No more kpis are calculated. I have to reboot it.
Here is the error message
'getFieldName has failed for : xdqa_powerlink_db0@jdbc:mercury:sqls...sqa04:1433(td) : Failed to obtain a connection to schema 'xdqa_powerlink_db0' - timeout expired; nested exception is: com.mercury.optane.core.db.CTdDbException: Failed to obtain a connection to schema 'xdqa_powerlink_db0' - timeout expired'.
When you get this error message, just check whether you are able to login to that project from QC.Are you able to login to that project, restart the dashboard services. If QC and Dashboard are installed on the same server then you can restart the services of QC.If dashboard is installed on a different server then you need to start the Mercury Dashboard services.
first many thanks for your response sarfrazkhan.
When I get this error message, I am connected (Can add portltes, define KPIs,...).
QC and Dashboard are installed on the same server.
Can you tell me how to start DashBoard services ?
To start the dashboard services goto the services and their will be a service with a name Mercury QulaityCenter.Just restart the services and it will restart the dashboard and also the QC also..
this works, QC And Dashboard services are restarted, so I don't need te restart the server, but I think this won't resolve may issue...
Why does the Dashboard server stops ?
