This problem suddenly occured a few days ago, perhaps as a result of the server running out of disk space.

We can no longer connect to mercury at all, the logon page (http://<host>/sabin/SiteAdmin.htm) appears but when entering correct password, it says:
Failed to login;
Failed to load admin properties from the database;
Failed to obtain a connection to schema 'qcsiteadmin_db';
Can't create a new database connection for url 'jdbc:inetdae7://<server>:1433?charset=MS1252';
[]Login failed for user 'td'.;

Stack Trace:
com.inet.tds.SQLException: []Login failed for user 'td'.

at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection
I can establish connect to the sql server using td + correct password (the same) from MSDE query, but it seems that mercury might be trying to use a different password.

Perhaps if I could find where mercury gets it's credentials when it tries to connect to the sql server, but haven't been able to.

Using Mercury Quality Center 8.2.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
