Is there a way to prepare a graph based on folder (in Test Lab) that contains multiple test sets?
For example I want to prepare a graph that will contain all tests according to test sets in specific folder.
I have managed to prepare graphs based on single test set or all tests sets.
In QC 9.0 use the cross test set to "Cross filter by" "Test Set" Then "Test Set Folder"
Let me know if I have to open a New Post for the same query as the poster AlexH.
I too have several Test sets in different Folders in the Test Lab in QC 9.2
I tried to Use the following to form a Cross Test Summary Graph(Bar Chart)
X-Axis: Test Set
Grouped By :Status
But I see the graph according to each test set, instead of status of execution in each folder.
How to achieve this.
As per JeffersonD517 I tried to check if I could group by "Test Set Folder" , but this option is not present there.
Any suggestions please.
I Tried to do the following for my requirement, And I am fine with it.
If for example I have the following folder structure in the Test Lab:
-Test Set 1
-Test Set 2
-Test Set 3
-Test Set 4
1.Then click on Analysis->Graphs->Summary Cross Test Set
X-Axis: Test Set
Grouped By: Status
3.Click "Refresh" button
4.Then after the graph is displayed Click on the "Edit Categories" Icon's dropdown present in the "Bar Chart" tab
5.Select "Edit X-Axis categories" option
6.Click on the Name field , and type in "Folder 1" there
7.Click on the Expression field icon, and add all the test sets present in this folder:Test Set 1, Test Set2 into the "Groups in New Category" table.
8.Click the <OK> button
9.Repeat steps 6,7,8 for the second folder too, by clicking on the <New> button
10.Finally Click the <OK> button in the "Edit "X" Axis Categories" window.
11.This will display the chart according to the folders.
But this seems to be a workaround. Please let me know if there is a shorter and efficient procedure.
