Time stamps off after DST change
We have QC 9.0 patch 18 running on a Windows 2003 server. After the recent time change for Daylight Saving Time, the server itself shows the correct time, but the status bar at the bottom of Quality Center still shows the incorrect time (before the spring forward).
HP's answer to this is that we need to run the Sun Tzupdater tool. This was also the answer they gave me last year. Last year I ran the Sun Tzupdater tool, and I suspect that it's not an issue with my Java/JBoss implementation, but one of QC just being wrong.
I've found that simply stopping the QC process and restarting it corrects the time stamps.
Is anybody else experiencing this?
Re: Time stamps off after DST change
Yes, although I can't remember the exact resolution. I can't get to my old Mercury SRs to get it for you. There is a special parameter that needed to be run with the Tzupdater... Dang I wish I had written that down.
Found it.. in my e-mail archive.
Did you use the -bc switch.? We needed to do this then restart QC services.
java -jar C:\temp\tzupdater.jar -u -bc
