We are using a combination of tools. JIRA, HP QC, VSTS. All new projects are on VSTS only. Eventually we will only have VSTS, but we have a couple of projects using JIRA for while. It would be very helpful if the developers using JIRA could see the QC defects without having to use QC. Does anyone have a good way to import defects into JIRA from QC?
DB bought Go2Group JaM JIRA plug-in.
Excellent out of the box. Works with Unicode.
Does bi-directional sync and requiremetns between JIRA and QC.
go2group JaM was $2,000 USD. Easy to get approved spending. We bought two, one for Tokyo and one for Gemany. German side had soem parts running on Linux.
They have a new version, 5.0 We upgraded on a pre-release. If it is not availble, ask them.
The new things is easy install now, and JaM handles requiremetns from QC.
They also do test for us in their Peiking office. Price is great too and engineers good.
go2group have engineer in our Tokyo office.
Thier enginener are Japanese and American. Did good work for QC and JIRA, Perforce for me.
The price is not much and support is best.
German office is happy.
Ask for 5.0 new version
This was solved by go2group JaM plug-in.
it does two way sync of JIRA QC, attachements, and requiremetns.
Now I do all of my reporting in JIRA by automated process. This process also post to company wiki so management can see and not ask me.
I seep very good now.
They help me on ohter thing like Perforce and Subversion integration with JIRA too. Build and deploy automation.
you will thank me
