QC - how to prevent design step mistakes
Using Quality Center 9.2, we have users responsible for creating and maintaining manual test scripts. So far, it appears that there is no way to undo a mistake when editing or uploading the design steps either within the tool or from the excel upload.
Is there a way to undo a mistake when modifying the design steps? Should I write a database trigger to capture changes, and keep them in case someone accidentally wipes out the wrong information?
I looked into doing version control, but the only free solution I could find (collabnet subversion) seemed like a pretty complex solution.

there is no other way other than version controlling, that I know of.
