Quality Center, Quick Test Pro and Add-ins
If I use Quick Test Pro 9.0 as a stand alone app (vs. being invoked through Quality Center) I can see and select any of my add-ins like Oracle and PeopleSoft. But when I am trying to use Quick Test Pro being invoked through Quality Center, those add-ins are missing. I did try to create a script when using Quick Test Pro as a stand alone with Oracle add-in, then open Quick Test Pro through Quality Center and open up that script and the app said there was an add-in that was not recognized and any results might be wrong.
Does anyone have any idea as to what the issue with my setup?

When you use Quality Center to invoke a QTP Test, QTP will be launched with the addins that were specified by the test itself. Those are defined by opening the test in QTP and selecting 'File-> Settings' from the main menu. Under 'Associated add-ins' on the 'Properties' tab, click 'Modify' to specify which add-in are needed for that test.
Next time you launch QTP from Quality Center, those add-ins will be selected. Since the Oracle and PeopleSoft add-ins are not standard, make sure those add-ins have been installed on any remote machines that will be executing your tests.
