Migration from MQC 9.0 to MQC 9.2
We have developed an Integration of MQC with an Open Source Tool which is working perfectly fine with MQC 9.0. Now we want to move the code to MQC 9.2.
We installed MQC 9.2 using the existing schema of MQC 9.0. The customization we have done is to integrate MQC with a third party tool using the Open Test Architecture provided by HP/Mercury. In this regard we need to add new files to the MQC directory and update the setup_a.ini, test_type.ini files etc. In MQC 9.0 these files where directly placed under the MQC folders but in MQC 9.2 these are changed into *.cab files. We have updated these files and converted them into *.cab files but when we try to access the MQC link we get this error "http://XXX.X.XX.XX:8080/qcbin/setup_a.cab this file didn't pass signature checking".
Can you please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Also it will be good if someone has any documentation specific to MQC 9.2 which talks about Customization using OTA.
Re: Migration from MQC 9.0 to MQC 9.2
I'm having the same type of error when installing the QC client on a new machine with IE7 and we have not done any type of integration with the open API.
Actually, I just found this thread and maybe it will help:
It worked very much for me by doing the following steps. a) Regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\capicom.dll b) unchecking/disabling the option "Check for publisher's certificate revocation" under Internet Explorer advanced options. Thanks Guys
