How to implement mails for requirements?
we would like to send mails from the requirements modul.
The idea is to have contact, author and assigned to field with 3 corresponding "Send mail to contact/author and assigned to"-field each having the opportunity to select yes or no. When a requirement is saved, an email should be send to these users.
Is it possible to implement something like this in the requirements modul? I only found a code example for the defects modul in the help of the script editor.
Does someone know the corresponding code/objects for requirements?

You can do that in the workflow. For the REQ module, look at the 'Requirements_Req_AfterPost' event. It is fired after a req is saved. Within there, you'll need to add code to lookup the API 'Req' object and use the 'Mail' method on that object.
