The MS Excel Add-in is not working on a Vista Professional Client with Ms Excel 2003. The problem is on the map screen, it basically does no go any further from that point on.
You might want to contact HP/Mercury to atleast get this one logged.
for the most part, if history is any indication, they really have a hard time supporting the new OSs for a good year or more after they annouce they can support it.

Have you tried turning off User Access Control to see if it's a permissions problem?
