    Reordering Requirements in the tree

I know that I can move requirements from one branch of a tree to another, but I have yet to figure out a way to move a requirement to a different spot on the same branch.

See the attached example. I would like to move the highlighted line (2.00.00)up between 1.00.00 and 3.00.00

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Re: Reordering Requirements in the tree

Isn't drag and drop working for you? I think you can reorder requirements by dragging them and making sure you do not drop them as a child of something else. I can double check that today but i do think that works.

Re: Reordering Requirements in the tree

Your requiremtns are numbered in sequential order, and can not be moved to other locations in the heirarchy. It would require you to renumber your requirements on the backend and this is a dangerous excercise to say the least.

If you have added a preceding number for each requirement parent and childreen, then you can use the 'view order' feature from the set filter window.

This will sort the view tree properly.
