Importing Parameters from external source
Is it possible to use an external source, say Excel, to store parameter data and have this called at run time?
I have a test script which guides the user through inputting data to get an insurance quote. I have all the data stored as test cases in an excel sheet and the test is run for each of these cases.
Is there a way of feeding these into the test runner using QC parameters so that the person running the script does not need to refer to the excel sheet?
I guess what i am really trying to do is make a manual QTP script(as we don't have QTP) that calls a value from a data sheet and takes the tester through each iteration in the sheet.
Any comments, advice or suggestion gratefully received.

Even i would like to see something like that but there are no features like that in QC as of now. But you can QC APIs to create your own such tool.
