The list of defects and requirement are stored in external database (SQL Server) on a server. My QC database are stored on another SQL server. I am wondering how to do to import this data (bugs and requirements) in QC Database.
Can someone give me a solution? Is it possible de write directly in BUG & REQ tables? Is there any API or another solution to communicate with QC DAtabase ?
I know this solution. But I don't want any manualy action. I have to write a software that will extract regulary data from a database and to import it to QC Database...But how to ????
sorry for the delay, coming back form holidays .
In fact, Requirements and Defects are stored in another tool (CollabNet) and on another site. We access data using http via VPN. But there is a solution to get them using Specific Web Services developped by CollabNet.
My problem is to know how and what are the possbile solutions to input requirements and defects regularly in Quality Center Database.
In my opinion, we can use OTA API services from QC. But how to do this? I have to write a client software running on QC server and getting informations using Web Services. Another solution would be to write in an intermediary database from this tool and using a client on QC Server to import data from this intermediary database...
In fact, I have 2 posts on same pb.. Sorry Clic here
