What my goal is, is to run a test set in which test 1 has user enter data such as a userid and password in two different parameters. Then all subsequent tests (i.e. tests 2 - 4) would import those values from the test 1 parameters, without having to manually enter those values each time the next test ran. So, test 1 would run, user enters data, then test 2 runs using the same values from test 1 without having to manually re-enter. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Use a spreadsheet to interact with whatever test tool you are using. This will be easier than trying to get QC to do it for you. Unless you are running manually, then you have a different issue, your manual tester is too lazy to write down the data values.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

if these are automated scripts then I would agree - just create one external data file to be imported at runtime to supply the values - otherwise if it's manual - well you may be able to do some workflow scripting to accomplish this.
