Re: Scheduling Test Runs Thru Execution Lab not working
There is a download on the CSO site that we use. You can create batch files to run a single test set or a folder's worth of test sets (it doesn't recurse subdirectories, though). Then, you can put the batch file in MS Scheduler (comes with Windows).
It is called:
QC 8.2 SP1 TestSet Scheduler Solution
It's dated 1/30/06.
I have not attempted to use it on the 9.0 foundation. I suspect it won't work. I do know that Merc is working on one for the QC 9.0 platform.
We have had big success with it. In fact, so big we won't upgrade without it. I've built batch files that will run about 5 tester day's worth of test sets in about 14 hours. You'll need every test case in your set scripted.
