I am trying to customise the Defect Status list within the Management > Releases area. After creating a Release and then going to Status and then Quality and then Configure Outstanding Defects, I get the Default Status list of
Is there any way this list can be customised with a different set of Defect Status values?
The version of ALM we are using is ALM 11 Patch 16 .
Customizations are completed through the Tools > Customize option available from the menu above the module display.
Once there, you should see an option for Project Lists. Select that. You should then be presented with a set of lists that you can modify. The one you want is Bug Status.
Details on the Customization features can be found in the Administrator Guide. You must be allocated a Project Administrator role to make the above modifications. You should also consider the impact on other functionality from modifying that list. Is there any workflow customization or defect transition rules that will be affected? What about reports?

As a TdAdmin, I can only rename or delete the "Rejected" and "Reopen" values. I am not able to rename or delete the "Closed", "Fixed", "New" and "Open" values.
In the Defects module, we have managed to create our own customised Defect Status list by creating a new Defect Status User field and then linking our own customised Defect Status dropdown list to this User field. In the workflow, we then hide the Status System field and add the Defect Status User field.
However, in the Management > Releases area, the Quality graphs for Releases and Cycles use the System field Status values. I don't know of a way to get the User field customised Defect Status values reflected in the Management > Releases area in the Quality graphs for Releases and Cycles?
