ah I forgot about Lab Management - thanks Trudy. :-)
There's a small catch with Lab Management - any UFT machines added as hosts for 'Functional' test sets (Lab Management, scheduled execution) cannot be used for Default test sets (standard, manually triggered/on demand execution).
In my limited experience with Lab Management, hosts in LM can be used for Default test sets, but there is no cross over in the scheduling software. If you grab an LM host to use for a Default test set, LM scheduling doesn't know it isn't available. And if you schedule a host for use in LM, a Default test set will not care about that schedule and will take the host if it can grab it while not in use.
That's interesting - what version are you on at the moment Trudy?
When I was playing with it in ALM 11.52 if I tried to use an LM host for a default test set I got an error message saying that LM hosts couldn't be used for default test sets.
I'll have to revisit!
