The ALM 11 DB reference does *not* list RCYC_REQ_COUNT as a field in the RELEASE_CYCLES table. Yet, in Customize / Project Entities there is a field with Label "Requirement count" whose DB field is RCYC_REQ_COUNT. How can that be?
At first I thought it was just a missed field in the DB reference but when I go to Site Admin and do the SELECT * FROM RELEASE_CYCLES, indeed there is no RCYC_REQ_COUNT. How can this be?
Trying to upgrade a project from ALM 11 to ALM 11.5 and Verify and Repair run with no issues but Upgrade breaks saying that RCYC_REQ_COUNT is an invalid column name. How can this be?
Also, when I associate requirements with a release cycle, the field in the GUI "Requirements assigned to cycle" has a number i.e., there are associated requirements and the number of requirements is stored *somewhere* but it can't be stored in a non-existent field. So, how can this be?
Something really doesn't make sense here. What am I missing?
Have you applied any patches to your ALM 11.5 system before trying to do the upgrade?
I migrated project data from an ALM 11.0 patch 15 system to an ALM 11.52 system and then executed the upgrade process. I had no errors reported about invalid column names, and I see the same RCYC_REQ_COUNT listed in the Project Entities for the Cycle entity.
