ALM Project Topology Best Practice
I am part of a CoE for a big Clothing Retail company, and we are trying to standardize Quality Center/ALM. I am trying to find out how Retail companies who use QC organize their project topology. I have read the HP's document for Project Topology Best Practices, but I need some real world examples.
Typically Retail industry has multiple business areas with 10s of individual applications, and organizing them is a nightmare. The options I have are
1) One domain for one business area (Selling Channels, Merchandising, Logistics, Inventory Management), and one project for each application in that business area. All capital projects for each application are releases in the ALM project.
2) One domain for each application, and each capital project as a separate ALM project.
3) All applications under one domain called 'Applications', and all Initiatives under one domain.
Any help is appreciated.
