ALM Synchronizer: how to set up a filter in ALM as master vs. TFS?
So we have ALM sync doing the bridge between TFS and ALM.
On the requirements side, we use TFS as a master, with a filter that was saved in TFS as the condition to publish the requirements to ALM (so that one works).
Conversely, we're trying to do the same with ALM for the defects, but for some reason i cannot add any filters in ALM Synchronizer / Rules tab, and i don't know what filters is it referrring to in ALM...
what we want to achieve is: we only want the defects under a specific STATUS to be sync-ed to TFS, not all of them.
Can anyone assist?
thanks and regards,
To answer my own post, i finally figured it out. Set a regular filter (grid) in the defects module, save view as a PUBLIC favorite, then that view would appear in the ALM sync client, and voila! problem solved.
