I moved my test script into Test Lab and I set the schedule task timing in QC in "Exucution flow" Tab. I selected in QTP - Options - "Allow Other Hp products to allow run".Even though using QC not able to run with the Schedule timing. Can you please help me how i can proceed for Schedule task using QC to execute our QTP scripts.
In v11, the feature you are referring to is not a feature to create a background scheduled task. Instead, the feature is creating a time dependency.
In the Execution Flow, if you right-click on a test you can select Test Run Schedule. In the next dialog there are two tabs; Execution Conditions, and Time Dependency. In Time Dependency you can select between options to Run At Any Time or Run At Specified Time.
After making your selection, to have that selection take effect in the Test Lab you actually have to select the test and click Run. The Time Dependency will be evaluated only when the test is Running. When the Time Dependency is met during a Run, the run of the test will begin. The Time Dependency will not cause a Run action to be started.
With v11 the only way to create a background scheduled task to start the Run action for one or more tests is to create a program that interfaces to the QC OTA API to use the TSScheduler object to start a test set run now, and then use a third party scheduling tool (like MS Task Scheduler) to schedule the program you wrote to run at a particular.
