Iam using QTP 11.0 with ALM QC 11.0. Whenever I execute a script from QC an try to debug the script by clicking the "pause" button, the "Run" button remains disabled. I have to use the F10 & F11 keys for the reminder of the run session to run step by step.
Is anyone aware of this issue with QC11.0. This issue is increasing a lot of debugging time.
Cumulative patches are released for the ALM application periodically and need to be installed on the server where the application is hosted. You can find out the patch level of the ALM application by logging in to a project and then going to Help > About and clicking on the Additional Info button. Failures and odd behavior in the ALM application may be due to not having the latest patch installed on the server.
What are the differences in the scenarios between users who do have the problem and users who don't? Are they all using the same OS, service pack, and bit-level machines? Does it happen with all scripts or just some scripts? Does it happen in all projects or just some projects?

Re: Run button disabled in QTP 11.0 with ALM QC 11
I use the QC explorer. The ALM patch level is 09.
All of the users in my project use the same OS, service pack, and bit-level machines. It happens in all the projects as far as I know.
However, when I debug the script directly from QTP, the Run button is not disabled. The problem occurs only when i execute scripts from QC and try to pause and debug it.
I am facing the problem, same patch level on Windows 7.
I have Microsoft Script Debugger installed; as soon as I start debugging, there is no way to continue running again as the Run Button is disabled (also F5 does not work)
