Anyone using Screen Recorder in QC on Win7?
We are running QC 10 (Patch 28) on Windows 7 64 bit build and I have requested our Archtecture team deploy Screen Recorder to Client machines, but have had a response back saying that an HP warning is displayed on install as follows:
"HP Screen Recorder is not fully tested and supported on 64bit versions of Windows. You can proceed with this installation, but be aware that high performance 'capture driver' recording will not be available and we cannot offer support."
Can anyone translate this and advise what 'capture driver' recording is? Are you using Screen Recorder on Win7 'Untested' - have you had difficulties? Is it advisable to abandon the install? As the Dr Pepper ad says, whats the worst that can happen...?
