Sharing Test Resources across multiple projects

Recently we migrated to ALM 11 and what i would like to know whether ALM has the feature to share the Test Resources across multiple projects.

eg : common_functions.vbs (which has functions to be used in different projects)now we are saving this in share folder , if we want to save it in ALM where we have to save and how can we access the file.

Re: Sharing Test Resources across multiple projects

I'm not an expert in the area of sharing between QC projects, but this is the way I understand it.

I don't believe there is a way in one QC project to create a reference that points to information/data in another project.

The way to share items between projects is to create baselines (or libraries?) as collections of the things you want to share, and then export/import those between projects. With ALM this can be done only if you have the full product license. With previous versions of QC this was called the Premier Edition license (vs. Starter Edition or Enterprise Edition).

I concur with what trudy is saying. Which I why I put most of my test automation resources on the network file system rather than in QC / ALM
