Can I call VB form similar to Memo field?
I customize the defect workflow and we force developer to add Dev_Comments if status was changed to Fixed. In that case InputBox will pop-up and everything was entered to InputBox get appended to Dev_Comments. Works fine. Now the question: Can I call something fancier than just simple InputBox? Can I make a VB form similar to Memo field and call it from Bug_Can_Post? Many thanks if someone could share the example.
Re: Can I call VB form similar to Memo field?
You can use IE, it is not very elegant though. Search the net for QC workflow and combo boxes for the basic concept. I've tried it as a proof of concept so I know it works, I just didn't really like it that much so never used it other than in a test project. I'm pretty sure I didn't even need to write any code, I found a working example after searching the net.
