I am in an [stupid is as stupid does] need of help here
We are migrating from Rational Manual Tester to ALM 11. My problem at this point is migration of Test Scripts (not execution results).
There is no direct software to do so. The only was is to export from rational , run a macro to convert to excel format supported by QC and uploading to QC. This is a very tough and hard task. Does anyone know of any other better solution to do so?
Does Rational Manual Tester have an API for accessing the data, or can you access the data storage directly? If so, another alternative is to consider writing a program yourself that will extract the data from RMT and then interface to the QC Open Test Architecture API to insert the data in QC. Still a complicated task, but it is an alternative.
