Forum requires guidelines and a FAQ?
It could just be I'm becoming a grumpy old tester or it is too early in the morning but it strikes me that the quality of posts here has plummeted over recent months. There seems to be a large increase in the number of posts that just ignore standard forum etiquette.
Does anyone else feel the need for a guidelines and a FAQ?
I figure we could almost rip off wholesale the guidelines for the QTP forumn and people could respond to this post for suggestions for a FAQ.
I figure a good starting point for a FAQ would be how to find the QC doco, a link to a good VB reference, links to online excel references and links to good SQL Server and Oracle references as configuration and reporting questions seem to come up a lot. Then we could reference good examples of common threads - suggestions? And possibly start and reference threads for people to post examples of vb code for configuration and SQL and vb code for reporting.

I'm with you Brendon and while you're at it find some way to verify that the poster has actually read the guidelines.
