There is the Document Generator, under the Tools menu, which supports some verbose custom report generation. Depending on the version of QC you are using, there is also the Dashboard module which supports three different kinds of reporting; verbose, graphs, and hand-crafted DB queries that generate data into an Excel spreadsheet.
There are also pre-fab reports available under the Analysis menu in each module. There is little customization available for the pre-fab reports.
For your initial report, are you looking for test cases (in the Test Plan module) modified by a user or created by a user? Those are two different things that would require different queries?
I'm using QC 11. Really I looking for shortcuts Meaning I am trying to create metrics for my testers and one metric that I am interested in is how many test cases an invidiual tester created (which I have already done) and how many test cases a tester has modified at some point (which I have not done) I am trying to figure out how to create a graph under Analysis to obatin this data. I am hoping that someone out there has already figured out a bunch of filters and wanted to "borrow" some.
