We upgraded our stage Quality Center 10.00 instance to ALM 11.00 on a new server. We chose the upgrade a copy of the existing schema option. After the upgrade to ALM 11.00 on the new server, we get "Invalid Server Response" message when tring to access QC 10.00. We have tried updtaing the 290qcbin.war file approach with HP, to no avail. Has anyone else encoutered this issue? We would like to proceed with an upgrade of one project at a time, but cannot if we can't use QC 10 for projects that were not upgraded.

Please provide more information about your configuration. I understand from your post that when you installed ALM v11 you upgraded a copy of the schema, so you may have two schemas on the database server, and that should be okay. Do you have QC v10 installed on one server, and ALM v11 installed on a separate server, with both access the same database server? What is the OS of each server? What is the OS and browser version of the system you are using to try to access QC v10?
