Loss of connection to QC server
When using QC 10 or 11, how would a user know that the LAN connection between the client and the server has been severed?
From what I have seen, the server clock keeps in step with the client clock. I logged into QC and began to modify a test script. The I removed my LAN cable. I noticed that both clocks stayed in sync after at least a 1/2 disconnected.
The only true way I figured out I had lost my LAN connection was when I tried to access another module, when is displayed a "server not available" message.
So, is there another way a user would know the LAN connection has been severed?
