    Failed to send an email . Email disabled message

    I am trying to send a testcase through email and it gives me the message saying email is disabled so I logged in as ADMIN and saw my MAIL_Protocol is NONE what should I set this to so that I can send my testcaes through email . Its QC11.

    Could you describe in details where did you find the MAIL_Protocol as NONE?
    In Project Customization or in Site Admin?

    In any case there is reliable way to send emails in QC: Workflow scripting in project customization. There you can define when and where send email. This way is more convenient because standard QC emailing very often just doesn't work. I faced such problem many times.
