    1)I need query for test plan tab to see number of test cases present group by folder name
    2) Query for test lab for number of test cases present group by folder name .

    You could try doing it in excel reports, you just have to take the time to figure out the ALL_lists table, which is not documented in excel reports. But if you look in help there is DB schema guide, which can help you figure it out. Then it should just be a couple joins.

    The free "Test Plan" report from rbreporting.com meets the both requirements. You could find a screenshot on the web-site: http://www.rbreporting.com/hp_qualit...k.htm#TestPlan

    Sometimes I use the Test Plan report just to review the test scenario titles in a particular folder (and its sub-folders).
    I use HP QC reports from www.rbreporting.com
