We pulled down QC 11 last week and installed it Friday, everthing went well on the install side when making a new project. I did not try upgrading one (our database repository is way to big).
One huge difference I am seeing is that the run details modal does not have the "Test Steps" option available for Quicktest_Test types. It clearly says that not all types support this in the manual, but I cannot figure out why it would be removed (was in 9.2 at least).
I also looked in the "Step" table and the information was there, confusing me more. I went to the "Run" table and saw the "RN_SUBTYPE_ID" had a designation of what type of test it was at the run level and changed it to a manual run, reopened the run, and there was the "Test Steps" option working fine (beyond the lack of an image for the micDone option showing as a red x).
This keeps us from being able to filter out the test steps easily in the QC UI showing only the Warning/Failed steps, attaching images to the step level, and logging defects to the step level.
Any clues as to why this would be removed? I am logging an issue with HP about it but thought I would see if there was something I overlooked for a reason to remove it.
