Export Projects in Quality Center
I am trying to Export a Project from the Quality Center, after doing the process by right ckicking on the project and selecting 'Export Project' option, getting error "Failed to Export". what could be the problem. can anybody explain the process to export a project?

There may be more than one reason for an export to fail. But what I have seen cause this is the QC server running out of disk space partway through the export process. The export process will ultimately create a single export file. But to get to that point it first creates several smaller files in the Temp folder of the service account which runs the Quality Center service and then assembles the export file from them. QC then deletes the temporary files after its finished building the final export file.
In my case, the server still had lots of free disk space in the volume where the destination export file was being created. However, the system volume where the QC service account had its Temp folder only had a few GB available and that was running out midway through creating the export.
I finally wound up logging into the server as the QC service account, creating a new temp folder on the larger volume, and then pointing all of the service account's Temp variables to that folder. After restarting Quality Center, I never saw the problem again.
