Help required in disabling the write acces
We have some five folders in the test plan created the client is asking the restriction to use the four folder (ie the user should have read only access the testers should not be able to create or do any modification of the folders ) and to only one folder full access.Have you done similar kind of customization
Re: Help required in disabling the write acces
There is no way I know of to totally restrict access based on the folders tree structure, yet let users see that structure.
If you use a data hiding filter, the structure is just.. hidden, which is not what you're looking for.
If you try to do it through the workflow, you cannot take care of each and every possible actions, especially when several tests / folders are selected in the tree and when the user drags and drops things.
