Is it possible to get the defect posted time from QC manually or from API?
Doesn't the History give you this?
... just another Tester ...
History only gives the data from the time the first change took place. It does not capture the defect log time.
I also looked into the table structure, there is no timestamp field in the Bug table.
Otherwise the 'AUDIT_LOG' Table captures data only from the first change.

Detection date is accurate to 1 day
Modified date is the Bug timestamp.
Each required history field (like Status) will log defect creation timestamp as the 1st change to that field.
When I look at my QC9.2 instance, the history contains a timestamp.
The very first 'Change' is the defect creation, so we can see the date and time that a defect was created.
Perhaps I don't understand your question.
What do you mean by "Log Time" ?
See attached screenshot for timestamp in history.
Does this represent the time the defect was created or the first change made to the defect?
Do a quick test by creating a new defect, and then looking at the history.
1. There is a history entry
2. The timestamp will be when you submitted (created!) the new record
3. The 'Old Value' is null/empty
So, the first history record shows the TIME AND DATE that the defect was created.
