i am facing an issue.
I log into qc with my credentials in the correct domain and project.
I click the authenticate button to authenticate my credentials and clicked the login button after selecting the expected doamin and project.
QC apis gets executed in the lower left hand side status bar
like.....>GetSettings etc and i the right hand corner of the screen i see the domain name and the project and the user name implying i am logged in .
However i am not able to see the qc modules instead i am in the same login page if i click the login button again a popup states you are already logged in.
I have performed the same in another machine where i am able to see the modules after logging in .....thus no cuztomization is not performed for my id and it is not an id thing.
i am using qc 9.2 and have installed qc client side set up
please let me know what needs to be done so that when i am logged in i could view the modules and could get my qc stuffs done.
do i need to install the connectivity ....i am using qc through web browser..
We encounter this occasionally on our site. Generally it is a "corrupt" client so we recommend:
- uninstall the client
- restart the PC (closes any open internet/intranet connections - known and unknown),
- run CCleaner (to remove all dodgy internet files that may be conflicting)
- install QC Explorer (the only browser really supported by HP for QC 9.2 and 10 - IE6 is a dinosaur!)
- install QC Client
- Attempt login.
