    HP QC Login screen not getting displayed

    Hi,

    I am trying to launch QC 9.2 on XP machine. But i am getting following error while opening Login page
    'ClassFactory cannot supply requested class (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040111(CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE))'

    And the login screen is not displayed. Has anyone encountered such error? Is there any option other than the formatting of machine.

    Delete the ActiveX controls, then try again:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\Quality Center

    Refresh the DB on which the QC is pointing to ..

    I deleted ActiveX controls and launched QC again. But still getting the same error.

    How to refresh the DB?

    Hi,
    which browser do you use?? IE6, 7, 8?? Firefox ??

    However you can do followings:
    1. - Download Uninstall Utility for QC 9.2 from HP
    - run it on your local machine
    - start a browser and navigate to QC and confirm Plugin installation

    or.
    2. - Delete "Quality Center" and "TDAPIClient" under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\
    - Got to C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files and delete Loader Class V4
    - start a browser and navigate to QC and confirm Plugin installation
    or
    3. - Download "QCExplorer.exe"
    - Install it on your client
    - Start it and navigate to QC
