QC Workflow: determining test path
I am trying to calculate the full QC path of a given test in the Test Plan, using QC Workflow. I have found the following in these forums, which shows how to do it from within QTP:
Set otaTreeManager = QCUtil.QCConnection.TreeManager
Set otaTest = QCUtil.CurrentTest
QCSubjectPath = otaTreeManager.NodePath(otaTest.Field("TS_SUBJECT" ).NodeID)
however I can't work out how to do this in the QC Workflow script editor. Has anyone managed this? I thought it would be something like:
QCSubjectPath = TDConnection.TreeManager.NodePath(Test_Fields.Fiel d("TS_SUBJECT").NodeId)
but the 'NodeId' property doesn't appear to exist in this context.
Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.
Re: QC Workflow: determining test path
Apologies, I found the answer I was looking for on another thread. The answer is simply:
QCSubjectPath = Test_Fields("TS_SUBJECT").Value.Path
Thanks for taking the time look
