Delete unused parameters
When I create a test in QC 10 I can add parameters no problem. But if I created a parameter by mistake I can only delete it from the test step and not the list of parameters for the test.
This would be OK if the deleted parameters from the test steps were not displayed in the list of parameters when you go to run the test.
Does anyone know how to delete parameters from the test case or if there is a setting somewhere that unused parameters will not be displayed when a test is run?
Re: Delete unused parameters
I tried this, but I can delete the parameter without any problems. Maybe your QC user does not have the required rigths to delete parameters. Go to Tools/Customize, groups, select the group your user belongs to, click change, switch to tab "Test Plan", open tree node "Modify Test" and check if your user can modify parameters.
