Any way to customize test set execution grid?
How to keep track of the build number of your AUT, and the database (like SQL or Oracle) with automation?
For example, I have testa, testb and testc. I want to see a history of what happened because maybe testa ran against my AUT build 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 on SQL. testb against version 1.2 on Oracle, testc against version 1.2 and 1.3 against Oracle.
OUR CURRENT -NOT SO GOOD- SOLUTION:
In QC we build folders for platform (SQL or Oracle), subfolders for builds with tests copied into each folder.
Is there a way to write some additional results en masse in QC?
Re: Any way to customize test set execution grid?
You can add user defined fields (UDFs) to the test in test set entity (one for the AUT build number and one for the DB). Then, you can use the replace function in the execution grid. Alternatively, you can write a script to update these fields if your folder and subfolder names are explicit enough.
