call QTP scripts from different project
Is it possible to call QTP scripts being stored in one project of the QC from the different project of QC?
I have a project "AAA" where all my QTP scripts are being stored and their supporting library files, OR etc.
Now I am login in project "BBB". Is it possible for me to call the QTP scripts from the "Test Lab" off "BBB" projet which are being stored in project "AAA"?
If the answer is yes, how can I do it?
If the answer is no, is there any better solution to achieve this type of functionality?
Both project "AAA" and "BBB" are in the same domain.
Thanks for your help.
Re: call QTP scripts from different project
It depends which version of QC do you have.
It is possible with QC10, because you have a shared directory.
If you have 9.2 it's a bit of a pain. At the moment we have a project called "Automated Tests". Whenever you need automated tests in your "normal" project you copy them over. But at least they are stored centrally and you don't have to look for them all over the place.
